In the Holistic Integrated System (HIS), we establish the two basic responsibilities that any human being needs to have:

1. Stewardship; Living the Law of Nature

2. Relationship; Living the Law of Love

I have used the light bulb as an analogy to describe this concept. Once these two responsibilities are put into action, a spectrum of good character traits will automatically manifest!

In order to live up these responsibilities, there will be a series of skills to be developed. In the 21st Century Competency framework, it listed the following skills:

• Communication

• Critical-Thinking

• Creativity

• Collaboration.

In Singapore, SkillsFuture has came out with the Critical Core Skills framework, and we are using it since it will be a common ground for the students and their parents to have the same understanding in the process of their capacity building.

The Critical Core Skills will cover three areas:

1. Thinking Critically (Stewardship)

2. Interacting with Others (Relationship)

3. Staying Relevant (Stewardship)

In total, there are 16 Skills which participants in our programme will be developing as they embark on the Family entrepreneurship Programme using the Adaptive learning approach.
